In 2014, our founders noticed something: Dutchies were constantly dealing with broken bikes. Flat tires, broken lights, rusty chains… getting around was a constant hassle.
They figured there had to be a smarter way. So, they set out to make biking easy and stress-free by skipping the ownership part altogether.
With 40 second-hand bikes and a big idea, they launched the world’s first ever bike subscription. For a fixed monthly fee, our founders took care of the bikes—repairing them whenever and wherever, so you didn’t have to deal with it. And just like that, worry-free biking was born.
