While you ride, we take care of the hassle. Flat tire? Broken saddle? We fix it or swap yours for another bike.

How it started.
In 2014 our founders, Martijn, Dirk, and Richard noticed their fellow students struggling with bikes falling apart from misery. “Owning a bike is such a hassle”, they thought, and decided to buy 40 second-hand bikes to launch the world’s very first bike subscription. For a fixed monthly fee, our founders repaired the bikes whenever, wherever. If a bike couldn’t be fixed, they swapped it for another one.
Swapfiets was born.
