Next Monday, February 1st 2021, will be important for us. While the Week of the Circular Economy starts in the Netherlands, we are joining the National Conference for Circular Economy, hosted by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. Not only will we be hosting a ‚Masterclass‘ at 14:15 CET but more importantly we are thrilled to be nominated for the Dutch Circular Awards 2021.

While Swapfiets is in the final of the Business Category for its 88% circular Swapfiets Deluxe 7, Dutch Railway (NS) and sustainable office furniture manufacturer VepaDrentea are super strong competitors in this race to win the Circular Awards 2021. The prize rewards innovative projects and products from companies and governments that demonstrate what the circular economy can mean for the Netherlands. A professional jury, including Chairwoman Prof. Dr. Louise Vet and Antoine Heideveld from Acceleration House Netherlands Circular!, selected the three finalists from nearly 100 registrations.
And now it's your turn!
You can join the conference for free and also vote - hopefully for us!Your votes during the live session of the conference starting 15:30 CET will be counted. And around 16:20 CET we will learn whether Swapfiets will be the winner of the Circular Awards 2021 – fingers crossed.
You can register for the conference at https://www.conferentie-ce.nl/registreren/
Unfortunately, the conference is in Dutch language only, but feel free to join and vote for Swapfiets regardless. Winning this award will help us open doors to find the right partners and will contribute to our mission to lead the movement to more liveable cities!
